# Bar Cabinets

A wall-mounted bar cabinet made from a used, authentic military jerry can. We collect the cans from military surplus warehouses in Europe and upcycle every one of them by hand in Denmark. Dents and corrosion from the years in service may be visible. That is the point: no two are alike.

Each can goes through the same eight steps: 24 hours in a furnace to loosen old paint, rust and the smell of fuel, sandblasting, laser cutting, steam cleaning and painting, moulded plywood shelves and hand assembly with hinges, mirror, ID tag and lock. [See how it is made](/production/).
